Adult literacy courses in Zambia continue
For the last six years, we have been organizing regular classes in Zambia that provide adults with basic education. Sixty individuals in Mukonchi and Solwezi are learning how to read and write in their adult years.

Ethnic Czechs from Ukraine mark first year in their old-new homeland

A year has now passed since the start of a government sponsored repatriation program for ethnic Czechs from Ukraine. In its initial stage over two hundred people asked to return to their old homeland over the unstable situation in the country and hundreds more want to take advantage of the opportunity to resettle in the Czech Republic. The training for experts on stopping human trafficking was devoted to an innovative strategy
The training held in Madrid from February 8th to 12th took place within the Project Chance and Challenge - Improve assistance services for child and youth victims by developing innovative support programs, a project funded by the European Commission, through the Erasmus Plus Program, Strategic Partnerships.

Three Kings Procession launched the Collection

During the period November 23-27, 2015, Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague organized training sessions for specialists devoted to stopping human trafficking. The event took place in Prague and brought together Romanian, Spanish and Czech experts.
Czech Hospital in Uganda Receives Award for Exemplary Infirmary Care
The St. Charles Lwanga Buikwe Hospital has received the Celestýn Opitz Award, which goes to outstanding personalities or projects that set an example in care-giving to the infirm or otherwise needy. It is being awarded by the Hospitaller Order of the Brothers of Saint John of God.
