Vackov Aid Center
The Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague participated in the Vackov Aid Center once again this winter. The Vackov Aid Center is a night shelter for homeless people in Prague and in the winter months adds its capacity to the full-time night shelters in Prague.
The project is significant not just for its scope (10,000 night-beds over the 2013/2014 winter), but also for the partnership combining organizations helping homeless people (the Salvation Army and Hope Foundation in addition to the Caritas of the Archdiocese of Prague), as well as Jablotron Alarms, which finances the project.
